21 Days of Prayer & Fasting
I hope your New Year's celebration has been a memorable one.
I am inviting everyone to join with me and the staff as we kick off the new year with 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. We will begin our fast on Sunday, January 10, and end it 21 days later, on Saturday, January 30.
I'm believing God that 2021 will be the absolute best year for both you and your family!
Fasting is a spiritual principle that was practiced throughout both the Old and New Testament. Jesus said to the church in (Matthew 16:16) "When you fast...", not if you fast, not should you decide to fast, but "When you fast...", because Jesus understood better than anyone else the supernatural power and blessings that come exclusively through the spiritual principle of fasting.
Fasting is giving up something in the natural, to receive the supernatural power and blessings of God in your life, your marriage, your family and your future.
Most people will not do a complete fast for 21 days. In Scripture we are taught that Daniel gave up meat as a form of fasting. So in essence you could give up anything that you value, be that food or otherwise, for 21 days as your way of fasting in an effort to honor and petition God.
Here is a list of some of the things that people will give up as part of their 21-day fast. You could pick one from this list or you could come up with one on your own.
· Carbonated drinks
· Social Media
Remember if it doesn't mean anything to you it won't mean anything to God either.
